ForeverOni17 – The Acclaimed Game of Thrones Wedding That Locked Down Lekki in Lagos

Welcome to ForeverOni17, the acclaimed Game of Thrones Naija Wedding that locked down Lekki in Lagos.

The Onis brought Lekki to a standstill on 30th December 2017 at the glamourous Lekki Colliseum in Lagos. The wedding was one in which you just had to have attended to fully enjoy and experience the all-out carnival.

Everything from the MyACWedding Bride / Groom entrance, to the food menu, the ushers’ regalia, the couple’s seats, the wedding cake were either unorthodox or themed with Game of Thrones.

Guests were totally astonished when the groom and his best man stormed the hall riding on a horse admist the Game of Thrones Themed Song playing in the background. Quickly followed were the groomsmen wielding swords and hand of the king brooches fasted to their suits.

Like that was not enough, guests were also shocked when they discovered that what looked like a fancy chandelier which had been suspended on the dance floor all along was actually the wedding cake.😱

We also saw a drama performance by the groom playing the role of John Snow trying to win the heart of Khaleesi. He starts by wielding a sword, and then taking out ‘competition’ (these were his groomsmen) before going ahead to ask for Khaleesi’s (his bride) hand. It was certainly a show to have witnessed.

Moments later came the after party where the DJ played cool old and new school jamz to the delight of guests. The carnival eventually ended late into the night and you could see surely in the eyes of guests that were leaving the venue that they had experience something like no other in their lives.

Kudos to the couple, planners and vendors for putting up such a great show. ForeverOni17 definitely lived up to expectations.
